The business behind the build.
A vetted contractor panel that brings you the work.
Capability was never the problem.
You can do the work. What you cannot do from site is be in the room when someone decides who to invite. Most contractors lose a job long before pricing, and never find out that they did.
Access
Panels and frameworks you cannot join quickly, and do not need to.
Standing
A name and a record that arrive in the room before you do.
Ceiling
Grading and capacity, so the next award is not capped by the last one.
What we do
Four ways your
book gets bigger.
Work, through the panels we are already on
Getting onto a framework or a supplier panel takes years of trading history and a submission nobody has time to write. We are on them. When a package comes out that fits what you do, you are put forward on ours rather than queuing for your own.
A name that lands before you do
Credentials, proof of work and a presence that means the client has heard of you before your number comes up. Technical ability does not sell itself, and the shortlist is usually settled before anyone reads a price.
Systems that stop capping your capacity
Quoting off your own rates, programme and spend visible in one place, invoices that fall out of the quote instead of being rebuilt at month end. Most contractors are limited by admin, not by crews.
Grading up to the work you cannot bid yet
Which grade is worth chasing, what it opens, what has to be true before you apply, and how to build the record that gets you there. We steer it and we stay on it, rather than handing you a checklist.
How it runs
Fig. 01 / 04
Four moves, in order. Each one is worth more once the one before it is done.
We read the business, not the CV
Current grading, real capacity, the shape of your book and where it thins out. What comes back is a plan for the next eighteen months, not a profile.
You come in through the panels
We are already on the frameworks and panels the work is released through. Getting onto one takes years. Being put forward on one takes a conversation.
The systems catch up to the work
Quoting off your own rates, programme and spend in one place, invoices that fall out of the quote. The admin stops being the thing that caps how much you can run at once.
You grade up, and the ceiling moves
Certification, capacity and the track record to carry it. We tell you which grade is worth chasing, what it opens, and what has to be true before you apply.

CIDB grade 6
Up to R20 million
What it opens
Provincial and metro packages, and subcontracts on genuinely large programmes.
What it takes
Financial capability tested properly. This is where most contractors stall.
Tender value ceilings from the cidb table · the nine grades, with the track record each needs
No fee to join. No fee to quote.
The panel is not a directory and does not sell listings. Arabella earns on work it brings you, and only then.
How Arabella is paid
There is no fee to be on the panel and none to price a job. Arabella's margin sits on top of your price in the quote the client sees; it is not taken out of yours.
Paid to start
The client pays 85% on award and you do not start until it has cleared. You are paid from that deposit on the terms agreed for the job. The 15% balance follows the client's sign-off and your certificate.
What we need from you
A live cidb registration in the class of works, tax clearance, public liability cover, a COIDA letter of good standing, and the trade registration that applies: Department of Employment and Labour for electrical, PIRB for plumbing, SAQCC Gas for gas. All of it is checked before the first quote, and re-checked as it expires.
