The call-out starts from R450. Every house is different, so the work itself is quoted after seeing the problem, in writing, and nothing beyond making it safe starts until you approve. These are the things that decide that number.

- How long does a bathroom renovation take?
- It depends on the size and what has to move. We give you the programme with the quote.
- Can I buy my own tiles and fittings?
- Yes. We quote labour and materials separately so you can choose.
- Why does waterproofing matter?
- A tiled shower is not waterproof on its own. Without a membrane underneath, water gets through grout and into the walls and the room next door.
