Roots, fat, a collapsed pipe or a bad fall. A camera inspection shows what is down there when it keeps coming back.

Fix the line
Broken or root-damaged sections dug up and relaid to the right fall, so it stops blocking.

The call-out starts from R450. Every house is different, so the work itself is quoted after seeing the problem, in writing, and nothing beyond making it safe starts until you approve. These are the things that decide that number.
- Where the blockage is: an indoor trap or a line out in the yard
- Rodding versus jetting, and whether a camera inspection is needed
- Whether a section has collapsed and has to be dug up and relaid
- Depth of the line and what is on top of it: lawn, paving or a driveway

- Is the blockage mine or the municipality's?
- Inside your property boundary, the drain is yours. If the municipal sewer in the street is blocked, several houses usually back up at once, and that is reported to the municipality.
- Why does my drain keep blocking?
- Usually tree roots, fat build-up, or a pipe that has cracked or sagged. Clearing it again only buys time; the camera shows which it is.
- Is sewage in the house an emergency?
- Yes. Stop using water, keep people away from it, and call or WhatsApp us.
