What the panel does
Granite, marble and engineered stone tops, cladding, cast surfaces and the templating, cutting, setting and sealing that go with them. The stone is supplied through the panel's brand partners and cut by their own fabricators, so the quote covers the slab and the fitting as one price.
Stone is where the supply relationship earns its keep: a client buying a kitchen top through Arabella gets the fabricator's price and the installer's programme, with the plumber back on site the day the top is set.
Tops are templated on site after the units are fitted and the client signs the template drawing, with cut-outs, edge profile and joins marked. The quote states the slab, the thickness and the finish by name, and the sealing and its maintenance are written into the handover rather than left to a leaflet.
Who commissions it
Owners and landlords refurbishing kitchens and bathrooms, developers finishing units, and commercial fit-outs for reception counters and cladding.
Registers that apply to stone & surface finishes
What to ask any contractor for before you award, on the panel or off it. Every one of these is checked before a panel contractor quotes.
Occupational Health and Safety Act
Engineered stone is cut wet and with extraction because of respirable silica; a fabricator's dust control is a vetting question, not a detail.
Supplier warranty
Stone and engineered surfaces carry the supplier's product warranty; it should be in the handover pack.
